Urgent appointments

We reserve a number of daily slots for urgent needs, so submit your request as soon as possible from 8am and mention that you feel it is urgent.

It's good to know that if your need is not urgent, we have more options, like trying to get you seen by a clinician you know, or at a time and place that works for you.

Extended Access

If your condition is life-threatening, always call 999 or go to A&E. For urgent advice when we are closed or at capacity, call NHS 111 or see our out-of-hours information below.

Book a routine appointment

The fastest way to get an appointment with the right person at the right time is by submitting an online request.

Please give as much information as possible. We can then make sure you get the help you need: We have a varied team of professionals, like GPs, Physician Associates, Pharmacists, Physios, and more.

Our appointment times are 10 to 15 minutes, which means we can usually only discuss one problem at a time.

Can't do online?

If you cannot do this, please call us or come in and we will submit the request on your behalf. We do get busy in the morning, so please be patient. We can also help you to submit a request online, it’s a lot easier than it used to be!

Home visits

Contact us between 8am to 9am if you feel you need a home visit. You will be called back to assess the need and discuss the options, as we can often much better examine and treat you in the Surgery.

Also, we can see several patients in the practice in the time it takes to do one home visit.

Sickness certificates (fit notes)

You must give your employer a doctor's 'fit note' (sometimes called a 'sick note') if you've been ill for more than 7 days in a row and have taken sick leave. This includes non-working days, such as weekends and bank holidays.

Visit our Sickness Certificates page

Change or cancel an appointment

Please give us as much notice as possible, so we can offer your appointment to someone else. It may be you who missed out on an appointment, as someone else did not cancel!

We do take patients off our list if they consistently do not attend appointments or come late.

To cancel your appointment:

  1. Use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App) and go to ‘your appointments’ and select ‘CANCEL’
  2. Reply CANCEL to your appointment reminder text message
  3. Cancel using the GP online system
  4. Phone us on 0208 983 7300 or walk in

  • you or someone you know needs immediate help

Out of hours access

We run a number of clinics together with our local practices to increase the number of appointments, including appointments in the evenings and on Saturdays. We may direct you to one of these clinics (we call them Hub Appointments) in the local area.

They can see your medical notes and are perfect for issues that doesn't need a particular clinician that knows you well. Do let us know if you can't travel there.
